Presenter Cathy Hummels is now “officially” the owner of her new home, as she proudly announces in an Instagram post.
April 3, 2023 is a special day for Cathy Hummels (35): “From today I am officially the owner of my new home,” she writes on that day in an Instagram post. She couldn’t believe it and was “infinitely looking forward to my new phase of life,” writes the moderator to a snapshot in which she can be seen with a bouquet of flowers and the key to her new house. But the 35-year-old also hints that she has mixed feelings about the change in her life.
She is a “sensitive person”
“At the same time I have some sadness inside me,” she continues in the post. “I’m curious about my future, but in a few weeks I’ll just close the front door of my current home forever.” She is very grateful for everything, but she is a very sensitive person. “Separations in any respect are extremely difficult for me. Mucking out is also an issue. I can’t do it and if I do, it’ll take me forever.” However, she approaches everything with full confidence and “separates me from everything that is not good for me. Also from material things and responsibility so that I can concentrate better on what is important in life”.
About three months ago, Cathy Hummels and soccer star Mats Hummels (34) officially divorced after 13 years of marriage. In an interview with the magazine “Gala”, the presenter recently spoke openly about the time after the breakup. She is a “psychosomatic person” and the divorce “literally hit her in the stomach”. The result was an “enormous weight loss”. She is currently doing physically and mentally “as well as she hasn’t been in a long time,” she told the magazine. She is grateful “that I survived the separation so well”. With the move to the new house in Munich with her son Ludwig (4), she is now opening “a new chapter”.
