CD Projekt: a date for the presentation of Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty and an update on The Witcher sales

CD Project just revealed today its balance sheet for the first quarter of 2023, and it is positive. The Polish studio records profits of 39.9%, this is 8% more than last year over the same period. But CD Project also dropped some information about its projects under development.

We already knew that the extension of Cyberpunk 2077 would be presented in detail during the month of June, we now have a precise date: Meet at Summer Game Fest 2023 on June 8 to discover Phantom Libertyhoping that the release date will be revealed on this occasion. CD Project also highlights the distribution of its developers on its various projects, and it has put the package on this extension. The rest of the troops are working on the next unreleased game The Witcher (code name Project Polaris), on the Project Sirius single and multiplayer, on games related to the GWENT and on other projects, the remake of The Witcher (Project Canis Majoris) must be part of it.

The Witcher 75 million The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt 50 million

Finally, CD Project announces that the trilogy The Witcher has sold over 75 million copies, including 50 million for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt alone. As a reminder, the franchise already recorded 65 million games sold last October, but the adventures of Geralt of Rivia are still attracting new players.
