What We Do in the Shadows Season 6: Filming of the mockumentary has started!

• “What We Do in the Shadows” Season 6 was announced before the start of Season 4.

The thirst for more of “What We Do in the Shadows” was so insatiable that the US broadcaster FX extended the series for a fifth and sixth season before the start of the fourth season.

What We Do in the Shadows is outstanding on every level, from the brilliant cast and surprising guest stars to the producers, writers, directors and crew. We can’t wait for everyone to enjoy season four, knowing that the next two are on the way.

Season 5 has now flickered across the screens and so we are now waiting impatiently for the 6th season, which will end the story of the vampire flat share.

What We Do in the Shadows Season 6: Start

The final 6th season of “What We Do in the Shadows” does not yet have a start date. Like many productions, the final season of the mockumentary was hit hard by the writers and actors strikes in 2023. The consequences are massive delays in production. However, filming could finally start in spring 2024, as leading actor Harvey Guillen announced on Instagram.

We assume that the final episodes of “What We Do in the Shadows” will be released in Winter 2024/2025 will appear.

What We Do in the Shadows Season 6: Plot

In the 5th season of “What We Do in the Shadows”, Guillermo was able to fulfill his lifelong dream, but he realizes that life as a vampire is not for him. Nandor also has this realization and decides to help his familiar and free him from the curse of being a vampire.

Nandor kills Derek, who had turned Guillermo, at the end of the season. Thanks to a necromancer, Derek returns at the end of the season. However, he is now a zombie. Guillermo’s transformation will change the relationship between him and Nandor. Will the two of them not find each other as a result?

Well, we’ll find out when we get to season six. But Paul Simms and the writers are very good at taking the story where you might not expect. I think in these will they or won’t they type relationships, a lot of times you don’t really want what you think you want. It might be more interesting to take things in a different direction, but I won’t give any of that away.

Actor Harvey Guillen also commented on the end of his character Guillermo’s story in an interview with the US magazine “Deadline”.

We start where we left off. Sometimes dreams and wishes don’t come true the way we want them to. But I think that’s the point of reincarnation, right? It’s like a renaissance, it happens again and you take a new direction, have new ideas, a new approach. So I’m really looking forward to the audience seeing a new side of Guillermo.

All of the main actors and actresses will be back in the 6th season of “What We Do in the Shadows”. Kayvan Novak (“Cruella”) will return as Nandor, along with Matt Berry (“Fallout”) as Laszlo, Harvey Guillén (“Return of the Thundermans”) as Guillermo, Natasia Demetriou (“Stath Lets Flats”) as Nadja, Mark Proksch (“Dream Corp LLC”) as Colin and Kristen Schaal (“Sandman”) as The Guide.
