(AOF) – Cegedim announces a partnership with Gustave Roussy, Europe’s leading cancer center located in Villejuif (Val-de-Marne). The group specializing in the management of digital flows in the health ecosystem will make available to Gustave Roussy its anonymized patient database THIN (The Health Improvement Network) containing the computerized and anonymized medical records of 69 million patients, collected from doctors generalists and specialists in 7 European countries.

The purpose of this partnership is to train Gustave Roussy’s algorithms on anonymized medical data collected in France and Europe by liberal doctors using medical software. The originality of the approach is to complete the methods already used by Gustave Roussy teams and commonly used in their genetic analyzes to identify genes of interest among several thousand.

Growth hampered by recruitment

According to a study for Numeum, the digital professional organization, 79% of companies in the sector consider that their growth is hampered by the shortage of talent in the face of demand driven by digital transformation. Digital services companies forecast 5% growth for 2022. Several levers are activated by companies to attract talent, in particular remuneration, while average salaries have generally increased in the IT sector. New work organisations, career development prospects and meaningful assignments are other assets. Capgemini has therefore adopted a new agreement offering up to 70% telework to all employees. These adaptations are essential as a report from the Department of Research, Studies and Statistics (Dares) and France Strategy establishes that IT professions will be among those who will recruit the most by 2030. .
