Celebrity Big Brother: Emmy turtling was "a little too much" for Udo Bönstrup

How did Udo Bönstrup experience his time with "Celebrity Big Brother" and how serious was his flirtation with Emmy? That's what the social media star says.

For Udo Bönstrup (25) the adventure "Celebrity Big Brother" is over. In an interview with news agency spot on news, the social media star, whose real name is Hendrik Nitsch, reveals what he experienced on the TV show and what conclusion he draws.

How are you after the end of "Celebrity Big Brother"?

Udo Bönstrup: I had few sheep, but I'm relieved. I am fine.

What did you find the hardest part of the show?

Udo Bönstrup: On the one hand, I suffered from the loss of control. You don't notice anything from the outside, you don't know what's going on around you. In addition, there is the psychological pressure from little sleep, little food, living in the dirt and having to smell yourself.

Have you already dealt with audience reactions?

Udo Bönstrup: Yes, what caught my eye right away is the sexism story. It was perfectly justified by Adela, but I think it was a bit of an exaggeration. I think it's a shame that double standards are still used. I am absolutely for #MeToo. But I think you have to see reality too. I think I was more likely to have been molested …

Were there any nice moments for you on the show?

Udo Bönstrup: There were a lot of nice, intensive conversations that you probably don't have outside. I was really happy to meet lots of new people. Overall, it was a great experience.

Was the affair with Emmy something serious?

Udo Bönstrup: I like Emmy and would never say a bad word about her. For me it was a bit too much …

Did you deliberately show restraint on the show?

Udo Bönstrup: I didn't feel very comfortable in the whole squad because I noticed that I was under a lot of assistants. I didn't necessarily want to be identified with that. Besides, I wasn't always Udo, but also a lot the private Hendrik. I just withdraw and say little when it gets too much for me. You're being filmed for 24 hours and you can't go full throttle and crack jokes for 24 hours. But I would have expected more from myself. It was an unfamiliar situation, a challenge and my first TV format. I overestimated myself a bit when it comes to mental strength.

Do you regret attending the show?

Udo Bönstrup: I absolutely do not regret participating. It was a great experience. I wouldn't rule out the possibility of doing something like that again. I would only have assessed myself mentally stronger and not thought how great the pressure is.

Katy Bähm always creates drama in "Celebrity Big Brother". How did you experience Katy?

Udo Bönstrup: I experienced it in exactly the same way and appreciated it that way from the start. I think this is going to get worse. For me it came across as if she smiles in your face and then it goes off from behind.

Who do you remember most negatively from the "PBB" colleagues?

Udo Bönstrup: Difficult to say. I didn't like a lot of people, including Alessia, who completely misbehaved. Just like Elene. I didn't like Katy from the start. But there were also people with whom I got along really well …

And which of them do you enjoy winning the most?

Udo Bönstrup: I absolutely grant Werner Hansch the win.

Will more of you be seen on TV in the future?

Udo Bönstrup: If there are inquiries, I will certainly think about it. I would like to do something as a one-man show. But I swore to myself that I would never go to the jungle camp. In my opinion, this is the greatest humiliation one can do to oneself.

What is your conclusion after "Celebrity Big Brother"?

Udo Bönstrup: It was a great experience. I've learned that you have to be incredibly careful with what you say when you're away from social media. A lot is put on the gold scales, which is not really meant in the end.
