On August 6th, “Promi Big Brother” starts its ninth edition since 2013. These stars have already moved into the TV container.

On August 6th, “Promi Big Brother” will start a new round (live at 8:15 pm on Sat. 1). In eight seasons there were quite a few surprising residents who plunged into the TV container adventure.

International star in season one

In the very first season, Jenny Elvers (49) took home the victory. Before that, she made headlines with her alcohol escapades and successfully rehabilitated herself in the container. She even celebrated a little “PBB” comeback: In summer 2020 she accompanied the eighth season on “Sat.1 Breakfast TV” as a “Celebrity Big Brother” expert. With her, a certain David Hasselhoff (69) moved into the “Celebrity Big Brother” house. On day five, however, he didn’t feel like it anymore and voluntarily left the show as the first candidate. Hasselhoff is also returning to the show in a certain way this year: With his single “The Passenger” he delivers the title song for the new season.

The 90s cult presenter Marijke Amado (67) was also a candidate for the first season. She made it into the final, but in the end only came third. The actor Martin Semmelrogge (65) was also seen in the first “Celebrity Big Brother” season. In the end, he reached fifth place.

Player’s wife as a favorite

In the second season, model and player wife Claudia Effenberg (55) was actually the favorite from the start. In the end, however, she had to admit defeat to ex- “Who will be a millionaire?” Candidate Aaron Troschke (31). Together with them, Ronald Schill (62) made the “Celebrity Big Brother” house unsafe. He polarized with his strange manner and came in third in the end. Schill was also seen in the RTL program “Adam sucht Eva”.

Also part of the party: Michael Wendler (49). After his weird appearance in the RTL jungle camp, the pop singer wanted to polish up his image in the house again, but somehow he didn’t really succeed, in the end he came in fifth. The ex- “Bachelor” Paul Janke (39) also moved to the “Big Brother” house in 2014, in the end it was fourth place.

A couple and a returnees

Singer Nino de Angelo (57) was there in 2015 and even climbed third and last place on the “Celebrity Big Brother” podium. Ex-soccer professional and World Cup hero from 2006, David Odonkor (37), won thanks to his natural and personable manner. In addition to Odonkor, ex-soccer star Mario Basler (52) was also an inmate of “Celebrity Big Brother” a year later. He was particularly noticeable because of his extreme tobacco consumption. In 2016 it was enough for him for third place.

Ex- “Bachelorette” Jessica Paszka (31) also took part in the fourth season and took fifth place. What is special: Her current fiancé Johannes Haller (33), whom she met in 2017 at the dome show, took part in “PBB” in 2018. He also came in fifth. Cora Schumacher (44) was still one of the most famous faces in the sixth season, reality TV star Silvia Wollny (56) won.

In 2019 only one candidate could really surprise: Zlatko Trpkovski (45) took part in the very first regular “Big Brother” relay. In 2019 he celebrates a “Big Brother” comeback and moved into the container of the celebrity offshoot. However, the car mechanic had to leave the show early. In 2020, one candidate stood out in particular: Ex-sports reporter Werner Hansch (82) set a record with his victory, according to Sat.1: He is the oldest winner of a reality show worldwide.

Verona Pooth (53) was also in the “Big Brother” container. However, only as a guest star on the regular show. She even stayed overnight in the first season. Other personalities have also appeared on the normal edition of the reality show: The late FDP politician Guido Westerwelle (1961-2016) hoped for a boost from his rendezvous with “Big Brother”. He didn’t stay overnight either, but left after a few hours.

Even boxing icon Wladimir Klitschko (45) paid a visit to the residents of the “Big Brother” house in 2000. The biggest surprise guest so far, however, was in 2015 in the 12th season of “Big Brother”. “Baywatch” bathing beauty Pamela Anderson (54) stopped by, in 2013 she visited the “Celebrity Big Brother” house as a guest of honor.
