Century: Age of Ashes, free-to-play with dragons available on Xbox One, and very soon on PS4 and PS5

It’s hard to get a place in the middle of the free-to-play these days, when the biggest publishers offer budget productions that are hard to compete with. The people of Bordeaux play wing decided to try their luck with Century: Age of Ashesa game featuring multiplayer battles on the backs of dragons.

It has been available on PC since last December, but mobile and console versions were planned. Good news, those intended for living room machines will all be available this month, except for the one intended for the Xbox Series X|S which has been available since March 10: the Xbox One edition was launched on July 12, and the PS4 and PS5 counterparts will be playable from July 19, 2022. If you are curious, do not hesitate, the application is free, with integrated purchases to unlock cosmetic elements, in particular those of the current Season 1, A Shadow Over Skeld.

Century: Age of Ashes offers fast-paced, fast-paced gameplay for intense online matches ranging from 3v3 to 6v6! Dive into the arena alone or with friends and fight for your survival in exciting game modes:

  • Carnage: A 6v6 deathmatch with special bonuses appearing in the arena to help you annihilate your opponents. A form of Team Deathmatch, but with dragons!
  • Raid: A unique mode in which two teams of 6 players compete to recover a precious flag. If you manage to get your hands on it, dash through a series of doors spread across the arena to clinch victory!
  • Plunder: Steal gold from powerful creatures and the enemy team while protecting your own lair and adapting to various unexpected situations!
  • Survival: It’s every dragon rider for himself! Take on 8 other players in a fierce and ruthless clash and burn your way until only one player remains on the battlefield.

The iOS and Android ports don’t have a release date yet, but are still planned for this year.
