Certain Affinity studio to get more involved in Halo Infinite

We’ve been part of the Halo franchise for over 15 years and we’re honored to announce that we’re deepening our relationship with 343 and have been entrusted with the task of evolving Halo Infinite in new and exciting ways. Join us on our adventure“, posted the studio’s Twitter account, while pointing to the direction of job postings from its two studios based in Austin and Toronto.

Certain Affinity had already been called in as reinforcements by 343 Industries in December 2019. The founder of the studio, Max Hoberman, is himself the former head of multiplayer on Halo 2 and Halo 3, in other words that the man has the confidence of the early fans. The deep partnership comes as Microsoft’s studio admitted to having difficulty responding to community requests as quickly as they would like.

More urgent than the recent broadcast of Paramount’s television series, season 2 of the game has fortunately been set for May 3 to restart the machine, but we understand that a little extra help will not be too much to allow 343 Industries to move forward on other projects, which include the co-op campaign and the forge mode.

Note that Certain Affinity currently seems to be in great demand by Xbox since a rumor signed Jeff Grubb attributes to him the development of a Monster Hunter-like in partnership with Xbox Game Studios Publishing, whose code name would be Project Suerte. There is currently talk of an announcement in 2023 for a release in 2024.
