CES 2022: Follow the Nvidia conference and the announcement of new GPUs

CES 2022 officially opens its doors on January 5, but from this Tuesday, January 4, you will be able to follow the Nvidia conference in particular. This is what to expect.

Like every year, Nvidia is present at CES 2022 which is held again this year in Las Vegas, and the manufacturer Nvidia is obviously in the game. This time, no question of seeing CEO Jensen Huang alias the man in the leather jacket. No: for CES 2022, we can count on the presence of Jeff Fisher, senior vice president of the GeForce branch of Nvidia and Ali Kani, general manager of the automotive branch.

What to expect from the gaming side?

Technically, the very powerful GeForce RTX 3090 Ti which is understood as the new (very) high-end model of the manufacturer should be revealed. With why not, some benchmarks to the key, just to show what it has under the hood. Based on a GA102-350 GPU, it would have 10,752 CUDA cores and operate 24 GB GDDR6X (compared to 19 for the RTX 3090).

High and entry-level from Nvidia

To counterbalance a little and come to compete with the entry-level products to come from Intel with its Arc Alchemist, we should also be able to take advantage of the announcement of an RTX 3050 card. It should even be available in version 4 and 6 GB. Some rumors still point to the probable GeForce RTX 3070 Ti 16 GB and RTX 3080 12 GB.

We can also legitimately wonder if NVIDIA will concretely tackle the problems of supplying components and stock shortages affecting the industry. Because releasing new card models is good. But being able to make everything accessible is even better.
