The Hisense 77R1 Rollable Laser TV 4K has a TriChroma Ultra HD Laser projector, a roll-up technical screen and a Harman Kardon audio system. There is very little technical information leaked on this model. The RGB laser source should provide 100% coverage of the Rec. 2020 and a good brightness which, associated with the technical screen filtering the ambient light, allows the use of this video projector almost like a conventional television.
It is reminiscent of the first rollable Oled television – the LG 65R1 – marketed since last year for the modest sum of € 85,000. Fortunately, the Hisense 77R1 Rollable Laser TV 4K promises to be more affordable, but still far from cheap since Hisense plans to market in 2023 for a price of around € 15,000.
