We learned a lot more about the PlayStation VR2 last night, including some semantics and official features. Sony Interactive Entertainment even took the opportunity to unveil a first game for this new generation virtual reality headset: Horizon Call of the Mountain.
This spin off of Horizon zero dawn and Horizon Forbidden West will make us discover the universe of titles and its machines from a new angle. We will embody a new character who will cross Aloy as well as familiar and unfamiliar faces on its way, in an adventure using the power and possibilities of PS VR 2 and its controllers PS VR2 Sense. The game will be developed by Guerrilla Games and Firesprite, the studio behind The Playroom and The Persistence bought by the publisher a few months ago.
We don’t know more at the moment, the first teaser of gameplay lasting only a few seconds, but we can hope that the game will be available at the launch of the device, at a date as yet unknown. Horizon Forbidden West will be released on February 18, 2022 on PS4 and PS5 and you can pre-order your copy for € 79.99 on Amazon.com.
