Manufacturer announcements follow one another at the start of CES 2022 and it is Lenovo’s turn to present its upcoming novelties. On the program, three convertible Yoga PCs and two Legions for players.
Lenovo chose January 5 to unveil its laptops at CES 2022. A priori, no big design changes, if not a few additions here and there, but changes in the component side with the arrival of latest generation Intel and AMD processors.
2-in-1 convertible PCs at all prices
Lenovo’s flagship series, Yoga convertible PCs, of course, benefit from these new features. The Yoga 9i – top of the range of the brand – is thus Evo certified and will ship an Intel Core i7-1260P processor and a 4K Oled screen in 16:10 format in its maximum configuration. It retains the sound bar integrated into the hinge, and is enriched with a few additional keys to the right of the keyboard. These shortcuts are used, for example, to add blur behind you during a videoconference, to activate “turbo” mode for the processor, or to access different audio profiles. Its price starts at $ 1,400, but it will probably cost more for more muscular configurations.
In the same vein, the 14 and 16 inch Yoga 7i will now ship with Intel Core i7-1260P and 12700H. Configurations with new Intel Arc graphics cards and Evo certifications will also be available, in addition to 2.8K Oled or 2.5K LCD displays, both in 16:10 format. These PCs will be marketed from $ 900.

The entry-level Yoga 6 will unfortunately not benefit from AMD’s Ryzen 6000 processors, but will settle for the Ryzen 5 5700U at most. Here too, the 16:10 format is in the spotlight and it will take $ 750 to get your hands on it. All Yoga will go on sale from Q2 2022.

Legion 5 for video games
Lenovo hit hard this year with Legion laptops gaming very interesting price / quality ratio. The manufacturer is renewing its models by equipping them with more up-to-date components. We will therefore find 16-inch Legion 5 Pro in Intel versions of 12e generation and AMD Ryzen 6000. On the menu: DRR5 RAM, WQHD + screen in 16:10 format providing a refresh rate of 240 Hz and G-Sync compatible, 1 TB of SSD, not to mention 6E wifi for optimal connectivity.
The Intel Legion 5 Pro will be on the market in February starting at $ 1,570, but we will have to wait until April to afford the AMD versions (starting at $ 1,430).

Lenovo has not forgotten the classic 15-inch Legion 5, thinner and less expensive, which will also be equipped with latest generation processors and graphics cards, accompanied by DDR5 RAM. Some components will inevitably be less upscale, but we will still benefit from WQHD 165 Hz panels, in 16: 9 format this time.

The launch dates are the same as for the Pro versions, but the prices are of course milder: starting at $ 1,200 for Intel configurations and $ 1,130 for AMD models.
