CES 2022 – Razer updates its Blade 14, 15 and 17 laptops with new Intel and AMD processors

Many PC manufacturers are taking advantage of CES to present their new products and Razer is in the game this year. The snake brand refreshes its Blade computers with latest generation components provided by Intel, AMD and Nvidia.

New components above all

This is where the main developments reside, the other characteristics not changing much, starting with the design. On the small Blade 14, we will now find an AMD Ryzen 9 6900HX processor and 16 GB of DDR5-4800 MHz RAM. Its thinness does not prevent it from integrating the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti and 3080 Ti graphics cards from Nvidia, models whose video memory has been increased compared to their “non-Ti” counterparts.

On the larger Blade 15 and 17, we find the same GPUs, but Intel processors this time. Depending on the configurations, we will have the choice between Core i7-12800H and Core i9-12900HK, which will be coupled with 16 or even 32 GB of DDR5-4800 MHz RAM (expandable to 64 GB). By the way, all these computers will now be equipped with Wi-Fi 6E and Full HD webcams compatible with Windows Hello; additions welcome.

These models will be available from January 25 from € 2,800 and € 3,000 respectively, while it will be necessary to wait until February 10 for the 14-inch Razer Blade, offered from € 2,200.
