The manufacturer is now revealing the ROG Azoth, a compact mechanical keyboard, in 75% format, with original features such as a 2-inch OLED screen displaying keyboard status, connection mode, caps lock, battery level, lots of multimedia information, custom animations, and even system settings, like the temperature of the CPU. But ASUS did not stop at this screen, the manufacturer details the key points of the ROG Azoth :
- Uniquely designed mounting gasket :
The mounting design of 10 silicone gaskets and three-layer damping foam give ROG Azoth a slightly cushioned feel and sublime acoustics. A durable 3.5mm thick silicone pad inside the keyboard absorbs noise, while PORON foam absorbs pings and echoes inside the keyboard. Plus, the silicone foam covered base completely eliminates echoes and provides a flat surface.
- ROG NX Mechanical Switches :
The ROG NX mechanical switches used in ROG Azoth feature pre-lubricated stems and base housings that provide a smoother click feel and eliminate spring bounce noise. Switches are hot-swappable for a unique, custom feel.
- ROG Keyboard Stabilizer :
The ROG keyboard stabilizer is pre-lubricated and specially designed for gaming: it produces less friction, which allows long keys such as the space bar, the Shift key and the Enter key to retain their original Switch feel.
The key design has been optimized with mid-rise caps and a shorter shaft to reduce key wobble and provide a more comfortable typing experience.
- Integrated lubrication kit :
ROG Azoth is the perfect keyboard for anyone looking to get into DIY keyboard customization. The essentials included in the box are: Krytox GPL-205-GD0 lubricant, three extra switches, keycap and switch pull tabs, switch opener, and lube rack for the switches.
- Triple Connectivity and other features :
ROG SpeedNova wireless technology delivers up to 2000+ hours of stable, uninterrupted gaming with near-zero latency in 2.4GHz RF mode (with RGB and OLED disabled). Bluetooth mode allows users to connect ROG Azoth to three devices simultaneously. Players can also charge the Azoth in-game using wired USB mode.
ROG Azoth features two pairs of built-in non-slip pads that provide users with three tilt angles for a comfortable typing position. Additionally, macOS mode remaps keys for use on Mac.
