You won’t need 3D glasses to game on Acer’s latest laptop and monitors.
The company announced the expansion of its SpatialLabs Stereoscopic 3D line at CES 2024 with its Aspire 3D 15 SpatialLabs Edition laptop and Predator SpatialLabs View 27 monitor. Whether you’re a serious designer or a casual gamer, the laptop and monitor were created “in the hope of bringing creative experiences and immersive 3D entertainment to more users,” according to Acer’s press release.
With an eye-tracking solution, stereoscopic display, real-time rendering and AI technology, the Acer Aspire 3D 15 immerses users, whether creating content, designing or game.
You can transport your 2D renderings to 3D with the help of SpatialLabs Go AI models
The laptop features a 15.6-inch UHD display and AI-powered SpatialLabs apps for glasses-free 3D viewing. Additionally, the laptop is supported by Microsoft Copilot up to Windows 11, so you can have the AI assistant for all the administrative tasks you don’t want to do yourself.
The Aspire 3D SpatialLabs Edition is equipped with an Intel Core i7-13620H processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 Laptop GPU for not too bad graphics.
The 3D laptop comes with SpatialLabs Experience Center Pro, a suite of apps and add-ons.
You can transport your 2D renderings to 3D with the help of SpatialLabs Go’s AI models, or get side-by-side video playback with SpatialLabs Player.
Switch from 2D display to 3D display
“Whether it’s a photo of a beautiful landscape, a video of treasured memories, or even a YouTube video, SpatialLabs Go generates depth maps for your 2D content and transforms it into stunning stereoscopic 3D in the blink of an eye,” according to Acer’s press release.
Following on from last year, the Predator SpatialLabs View 27 4K monitor allows you to switch from 2D to 3D display for better immersion.
The monitor also includes spatial audio, thanks to 2.5W speakers, AI-driven acoustic transmissions and head-tracking technology, so you can feel like sound is surrounding you while you play games or edit videos.
The Aspire 3D 15 laptop will be available in February, starting at €1400, and the Predator View 27 will be available in the spring, starting at €2000.
