CES 2024 – ATH-TWX7: the new pair of headphones from Audio Technica

Audio Technica continues its success in the true wireless earphone market by launching the ATH-TWX7. These incorporate the same 5.8mm drivers as the ATH-TWX9, the more high-end model. Furthermore, they support the LDAC codec and are compatible with the multipoint function.

The ATH-TWX7 adopt a design with stem, AirPods style, and take the look of their predecessors, the ATH-TWX9. They are IPX4 certified, which means they are resistant to splashing water. The promised battery life is 6 hours 30 minutes per charge with an additional 13 hours 30 minutes in the case.

Equipped with a noise reduction function and a mode for listening to surrounding sounds, the ATH-TWX7 also benefits from the Soundscape function. Activable in the Audio Technica app, it allows you to broadcast relaxing sounds or nature noises to help you concentrate or meditate.

Audio Technica ensures that it has paid particular attention to the onboard hands-free kit by having three microphones per earpiece. It is possible to switch between two modes: Natural for quiet environments, and Noise Reduction for noisy environments.

A special feature of these ATH-TWX7s is that they come with eight pairs of different tips. Four classic pairs to ensure good noise reduction and four others designed from soft silicone to ensure the best possible comfort.

The ATH-TWX7 should be available during the month of January at a price of €219.
