Hisense Canvas TV

During his conference at CES 2024Hisense put on a show with its enormous UX MiniLED TVbut also presented a lifestyle television with a resolutely modern design with its Canvas TVs.

Positioning itself as a direct competitor to the Samsung The Frame, the Canvas series intends to win the support of the public thanks to lower prices than its competitor.

Hisense Canvas: a television that blends into the decor

Present in a growing share of segments, Hisense continues to expand its television catalog, this time with Canvas TVs. We still know little about the technologies implemented to create this new series of TVs, however the Canvas had already been seen in a 65-inch version during the IFA in Berlin, but at that time carried the called Hisense M1. If we are to believe what was revealed last September regarding the M1 model, the Canvas TV could be equipped with MiniLED backlighting.

Finally, Hisense’s lifestyle television is indeed arriving on the market, under the name Canvas TV. It will be available in three diagonals, 55, 65 and 75 inches. It will have a support allowing it to be fixed against a wall and to integrate perfectly into any living space, like a painting. Like the Samsung The Frame, the Canvas TV will offer the ability to display works of art, or photographs, when it is not used to broadcast content from other sources. The Hisense operating system is at work to blend this television into the decor. The manufacturer has developed an optimized version for its Canvas TVs, called Vidaa Art.

A great price compared to The Frame

Hisense is banking on advantageous pricing to make its Canvas TV the essential lifestyle television. The manufacturer actually mentions “estimated” prices in its press release. The 55-inch model would be marketed at €1,100, while the 65 and 75-inch references would benefit from respective prices of €1,300 and €1,500.
