  • Lenovo is presenting a notebook at CES 2024 where you can adjust the cover.
  • Algorithms and E-Ink Prims technology ensure that up to 1,000 motifs are supported.
  • The manufacturer shows four different design schemes, including a dynamic clock.

Many of you have probably bought a case to protect your laptop from scratches or other minor damage. Maybe you’re also part of the group who bought these cases primarily because of the motif. This new concept product that Lenovo is presenting at CES 2024 would be perfect for you.

When the Lenovo ThinkBook 13x Gen 4 SPE is officially released at some point, the plan is that you will be able to customize the outer cover of the notebook. According to a press release, the concept product supports up to 1,000 different motifs. Even when the laptop is turned off, the pattern on the back remains intact.

This is made possible by software algorithms and E-Ink Prism technology. We already know E-Ink from tablets like the Remarkable 2. Unlike tablets, colored patterns are also possible. In any case, two of the design schemes presented by Lenovo are said to be in color. Among the four schemes shown there is also a dynamic clock.
