Presented at CES 2024the Cooler Master 3DVC V8 is a cooler combining steam chamber and heat pipes.
A specialist in cooling our PCs, the aptly named Cooler Master is impatient at the start of 2024. Impossible for her to wait for the start of CES in Las Vegas.
A few days before the show, Cooler Master has already lifted the veil on some of its flagship products, products which will of course be presented in more detail in Nevada.
A cooler to dissipate up to 300 watts
This year, the 3DVC V8 seems to be Cooler Master’s flagship product. This is a cooler designed to cool the most demanding processors with a limit set at 300 watts.
To achieve this, Cooler Master logically opted for an imposing model in tower format and integrating no less than two 120 mm Mobius fans. We do not have the exact dimensions of the beast whose design, visible in the video above, is not yet finalized.
What is finalized, however, is the combination of heat pipes – the design of which would have been improved – and a steam chamber. The idea is of course to boost performance: vapor chambers were notably used by NVIDIA on its latest GeForce.
A production “ AI-assisted »
Alongside this cooler, Cooler Master is also promoting an all-in-one watercooling kit (AiO), the G11 AIO. It is based on a design called “ double pump, double chamber » to increase the pressure.
We are obviously curious to see what it will do in practice, but Cooler Master, who is not losing his point, puts forward a “ production assisted by artificial intelligence » for better accuracy. Clearly, AI is used in every way.
The G11 AIO has a 360-millimeter radiator and three Mobius 120 fans, the same as on the V8 3DVC. Here again, Cooler Master mentions a cooling capacity of 300 watts.
