(CercleFinance.com) – The geosciences group CGG announces the first sale by Sercel, its sensing & monitoring division, of its new 528 terrestrial cable acquisition system, to TPIC (Turkish Petroleum International Corporation).
This first sale comes after the recent launch of Sercel’s new 528 and VE564 land seismic solutions, designed to maximize customer ROI by reducing downtime and increasing productivity.
Long-time Sercel customer TPIC’s deployment of the 528 and 8000 channels on a 3D seismic survey in difficult, semi-arid terrain in Turkey is planned for the third quarter of this year.
