Chambéry: what we know about the Anna-Chloé affair, injured in her college

The prosecutor of Chambéry refuted this Sunday the thesis of the aggression advanced by the mother of Anna-Chloe. The 11-year-old college girl suffered serious facial injuries after her head hit the playground bench.

The investigation carried out by the Chambéry prosecutor’s office resulted this Sunday in supporting the thesis of the accident. Thus, according to the elements collected, the pupil was late when the bell had rung the end of recess; she fell on a bench and then to the ground. At that time, according to “several testimonies”, Anna-Chloé was alone.

The mother of Anna-Chloé, a sixth-grade student in a private high school in Chambéry, denounced on social networks the racist attack on her 11-year-old daughter. On December 15, she had been warned by the College of the Rock that her daughter had been the victim of an accident in the playground and that the firefighters were on site.

In a long message, Anna-Chloe’s mother had described her child’s injuries: “Arrived at the hospital, I saw a hole on the face with the eye that was visible from the outside. (…) She entered the operating room and it lasted two hours. ” After this operation, which earned the schoolgirl 29 stitches, a CT scan showed that she also suffered from a broken nose.

Anna-Chloe victim of harassment according to her mother

According to her mother, the young girl has suffered since the start of the school year, “verbal, racist and even physical violence.” In her message on the networks she confided: “I had asked to meet the persons in charge of the establishment on several occasions and they did not receive me until the day when she had defended herself by striking a blow that a comrade to her. had given by calling her a ‘dirty nigger’. “

The case has grown to such an extent that the Minister of National Education, Jean-Michel Blanquer had requested the opening of an investigation. The director of the school who defended the thesis of the accident had to be placed under police protection, his address having been published on the Internet. He was also reportedly the subject of numerous death threats.

Anna-Chloe’s mother launched a kitty on the Leetchi platform, hoping to collect 30,000 euros “to pay fees and unsupported expenses”. It also received the support of public figures, including Cyril Hanouna.

If the thesis of the aggression is rejected “firmly” by the prosecution, the director of the cabinet of the rector of Grenoble, Samuel Vitel, calls for calm. “The excitement is not for the benefit of anyone, we want to relieve the pressure for everyone” he confided.
