Change at the head of Orange France. Fabienne Dulac will leave her place to Jean-François Fallacher, who currently heads the Spanish subsidiary.
This change in governance is announced barely two weeks before the launch of the operator’s new strategic plan, on February 16, under the impetus of the new Managing Director, Christel Heydemann.
The departure of Fabienne Dulac had already been circulating for several months at Orange. She had been running the French subsidiary for eight years, a record.
New Directions
This is the second major change in the governance of Orange since the departure of Stéphane Richard last year, and the arrival at the helm of Christel Heydemann. Last month, financial director Ramon Fernandez also announced that he was joining shipowner CMA CGM.
A complete overhaul of the group’s management could be announced during the presentation of the strategic plan in mid-February. Although this plan is not known in detail, the refocusing on the telecom business and the improvement in financial performance seem obvious.
The movement has already begun, with the sale to Canal + of OCS, the cinema content subsidiary. The sale of Orange Bank should follow.
