Boruto marked its big return in August 2023 after a long, well-deserved break. Fans were impatiently awaiting the sequel, and it presented itself with a new name: Two Blue Vortex, the new name of the manga after its storyline ellipse. For now, we have been treated to three rather intense chapters that keep us in suspense. Today, chapter 84 has leaked, and what we are shown turns out to be unexpected. Prepare to be amazed.
Boruto Chapter 84 Summary
A little reminder is necessary. The last time we saw Boruto, he was fighting against Code, because the latter didn’t want to take him to see Jūbi. The confrontation between the two characters allowed us to discover the new technique of the son of the Seventh Hokage, the Rasengan Uzuhiko. This is overpowering, to the point of being compared to the “rotation of a star”. Code runs away, but Boruto manages to track him down thanks to a toad. The ten-tailed demon is flushed out, and the young man seems ready to take action. Chapter 83 ended on this note, so suffice to say that we couldn’t wait to read the rest. And it’s now available.
At the start of chapter 84, Boruto rushes to reach his opponent thanks to the Flight of the Lightning God. But once there, the ten-tailed demon disappeared. Instead, a new enemy appears, creating amazement among the two ninjas. Code is surprised, while Boruto explains that it is a “sacred tree” or “god tree”. The boy unfortunately gets knocked out quite quickly, and he narrowly avoids death. This is when another relatively similar antagonist enters. We thus understand that the divine tree seems to have evolved thanks to Code.
And it’s not getting better. Two new faces then appear, and they all want to go after Boruto. For her part, Sarada faces Kawaki, telling him that she will not let him control Konoha, and that they must go help their friend. He could indeed use help, because the four sinister figures pounce on him, and despite his efforts, he finds himself pinned by one of their attacks.
He asks Code for help, who prefers to escape. Boruto ends up running away, and one of the antagonists speaks: “ Our ego has just awakened, and our boundless curiosity and thirst for knowledge have overtaken our instinct to eat you… for now. The return of a cult character?
The end of Chapter 84 shows us Boruto having managed to escape to safety, and he is suddenly joined by none other than Kashin Koji. If you forgot, this man is an internal member of the organization known as Kara. But above all he is a clone of the legendary Jiraiya. Anyway, the last page shows us that Sasuke has… turned into a tree. It would be visibly sealed, which explains why he has not intervened until now. The young boy asks him to “ wait a little longer “.
