Charlene of Monaco finally back on the Rock

She is back. After spending more than three months in Switzerland in a specialized establishment, Charlène of Monaco found her family this weekend.

The Palace announced its return to the Rock in a press release released on Saturday March 12. Treated for a “big fatigue” physical and psychological, as announced in November by the Palace, the mother of Jacques and Gabriella is therefore preparing to continue her recovery near her family.

A decision taken by mutual agreement between the princess, her husband Albert and her doctors. “In agreement with her doctors and while her recovery is on the right track, their serene highnesses have agreed together that Princess Charlene can now continue her convalescence in the principality, with her husband and her children”, shared the Palace.

An improvement but no official appearance

If the health of the former Olympic swimmer has improved, she still needs a little time but also “calm and serenity”, before returning to the front of the stage, according to the press release . “The next few weeks should allow him to fully recover so that he can gradually resume his official activities.”

The past year has been particularly trying for Charlene of Monaco. Prince Albert’s wife spent more than six months in South Africa, away from her family, following an ENT infection, which prevented her from flying and for which she suffered several surgeries. After a quick return to Monaco in early November, she finally left the Rock, two weeks later, to rest away from the principality. A difficult moment which could therefore well, from now on, be behind her.
