The highlight of this trip will be the dinner organized on Monday March 27, 2023 at the Palace of Versailles. Around him, there will be no less than 200 guests. At 7 p.m., the royal couple will leave the British Embassy, rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré in Paris, where they had taken their place the day before. 30 minutes later, the king and queen consort will arrive in the main courtyard of the Palace of Versailles before crossing the royal gate which will be exceptionally open. They will thus be welcomed by Emmanuel and Brigitte Macron.
The two couples and the guests will then be able to attend a magnificent concert of the royal opera. To please Charles III, the organizers of his trip decided to have him listen to works by British composers such as Henry Purcell, John Blow and George Friedrich Handel.
