The actress denies a facelift

Hollywood star Charlize Theron has spoken out about aging while denying a facelift. She ages naturally.
Actress Charlize Theron (48) defends against rumors that she had a facelift done. In an interview with Allure magazine, she emphasized: “My face is changing and I love that my face is changing and aging.”
“I despise this concept”
However, many people thought she had a facelift and wondered, “What did she do to her face?” She responds, “I’m just getting older! That doesn’t mean I’ve had bad plastic surgery. That’s just what happens.”
The three-time Oscar winner also criticized the double standard between men and women when it comes to aging. “I’ve always struggled with the fact that men age like fine wine and women like cut flowers. I despise that concept and I want to fight against it.” But she also thinks “that women should age as it feels right for them”. In general, there needs to be “a little more sensitivity to the way we all go about our journey”.
She never wants to gain weight for a role again
Because of her age, she will no longer accept some roles, the 48-year-old explained. “I’m never going to do a movie again and say, ‘Yeah, I’m going to gain 40 pounds.’ I’ll never do it again because you can’t just take it off.”
She was 27 when she shot the movie “Monster” (2003). At that time she lost the 30 pounds she had eaten for the film almost overnight. “I skipped three meals and was back to my normal weight.”
When she then shot “Tully” at the age of 43 and had to gain weight again, it was no longer so easy for her to lose weight afterwards. “I remember after a year of trying to lose weight I called my doctor and said, ‘I think I’m dying because I can’t lose this weight.'” He then discussed that her metabolism over 40 is no longer what it used to be. “No one wants to hear that.”
