Animal rescue – Kramsach fire department freed cat from ventilation hole

The Kramsach volunteer fire department had a strange operation a few days ago in the Badl district. A cat had fallen through a ventilation hole and was unable to free itself. The Florianis went on an animal rescue operation.

It was a horrifying journey of discovery that a cat undertook in a house in the Badl district. During their great adventure, the animal had fallen through a ventilation hole in a plasterboard shell. When the residents of the house noticed the animal trapped there, they first tried everything to free the four-legged friend from its predicament. In vain! Since there was no other opening, the fire department had to come out. A hole was quickly cut into the wall with a reciprocating saw. A little later, the emigrant was safe again and, above all, free. Finally, FF commander Rene Arzberger gave him a few more cuddles. “In order to fully enjoy its freedom again, the cat freed itself before the vet arrived and ran away through the open front door – presumably in the direction of its actual home,” they describe emergency services.
