A victim of its success, OpenAI quickly had to restrict new subscriptions to ChatGPT Plus after its DevDay conference. Since then, anyone wishing to subscribe to ChatGPT’s paid service had to first register on a waiting list.

Good news: no more waiting! Open AI has just reopened ChatGPT Plus subscriptions, with no waiting list and no delay.

GPU Search

“We have reactivated ChatGPT Plus subscriptions”, announced Sam Altman, the CEO of OpenAI, on X (formerly Twitter). “Thank you for your patience as we searched for more GPUs. »

Graphics processing units (GPUs) enhance the computing power and parallel processing capabilities of AI-powered chatbots. They are optimized to handle thousands of threads simultaneously, to track the best progress and to improve the machine learning capabilities of a chatbot – for faster and more efficient training.

In summary, GPUs can help increase an AI-powered chatbot’s ability to handle more queries from more users at a given time. More GPUs also reduce response latency – the time it takes for the chatbot to respond to users.

GPT-4, Dall-E 3 and my GPT

ChatGPT Plus subscription costs $20 per month. In particular, it allows access to GPT-4, OpenAI’s most powerful language model, connected to the internet with Bing. It also allows you to generate images using DALL-E 3 and perform advanced data analyses.

The paid version of ChatGPT also allows subscribers to access My GPT to create their personalized AI chatbots, powered by GPT-4 and plugins.

For those who do not wish to purchase a paid subscription, ChatGPT is still available for free. The free version focuses on text and is based on the GPT-3.5 model.
