Cheaper and better than the Fire TV Stick: Roku streaming stick reduced again at Media Markt

Now the devices are not available at the promotional price again, but are even cheaper – thanks to the current VAT campaign, you save even more money.

The streaming sticks are particularly suitable if your television is either not yet “smart” or if it now responds sluggishly and you may not even be able to use current streaming services due to a lack of apps. The solution also costs 20.17 or 27.73 euros – after deductions in the shopping cart.

Despite the low price, you’re not buying junk goods with the Roku Express 4K. The media player is even superior to the Fire TV Stick 4K in some respects. For example, the stick supports AirPlay 2 and HomeKit and can therefore receive media content directly from the iPhone. Alexa and Google Home are also supported. Roku also does not have a user interface that is overloaded with advertising.

All major streaming services, tidy interface

In addition to HDR, the stick also supports DTS Digital Surround. Unfortunately, there is no support for Dolby Vision, but the Roku Streaming Stick offers this for 9 euros more, the price of which has also currently been significantly reduced. Both sticks offer access to various apps and are connected to the Internet via WiFi.

At a price of just 24 euros, you can’t go wrong with this offer if you want to expand your television to include streaming apps like Disney+, DAZN and Co. Compared to Amazon’s Fire TV, the Roku shines above all with its tidy interface. The operation is also easy and suitable even for newbies. However, if you want Dolby Vision and voice remote control, you should go for the slightly more expensive model for 33 euros.
