Who says a Queen can’t or can’t have a good time playing video games? Certainly not Queen Elizabeth II ! While the latter has unfortunately just left us after more than 96 years of life and a reign of 70 years, we learn to our great surprise but for our greatest happiness thatshe was a fan of Nintendo, and more particularly of Wii Sports with the very famous Bowling.

Real banger, who hasn’t played Wii Sports in their entire life? A true hit title from Nintendo, for years now Wii Sports continues to gather young and old around the TV for eventful evenings. Among the royal family, the game was apparently also part of it and the Queen took pleasure in playing Bowling.
Reported by UK site Wired, we learn that it was in 2008 that Kate Middleton, Princess of Wales and wife of Prince William, decided to give her husband the Nintendo Wii console. It was then that Queen Elizabeth II fell in love with Wii Sports when she saw her grandson playing it. According to the words of Wired, she would have “begged to participate” and would have taken to the game like never before.
Unfortunately, we don’t know if Her Majesty had other video games that she particularly liked, but the fact of imagining her playing Wii Sports and playing a few games of Bowling inevitably gives a smile, we must admit. Moreover, if you follow a little the news of the Royal family, you are aware that a few months ago, and more precisely last May, the Wii Royale was put up for auction.
In effecta special Gold Wii is available for sale, and this one was originally designed for none other than Queen Elizabeth II. Unfortunately, we must believe that she was not really interested in the console since, even if the Wii Royale was able to pass the doors of the palace, she was just as quickly sent back to THQ, the studio having had the idea of this design, to say the least, original.
Nintendo finally gives news of the next Zelda!
Regarding the news around Nintendo and more particularly its flagship license Zelda, it was on September 13 that we finally had the right to new images of the next game which will therefore respond to the name of The Legend of Zelda : Tears of the Kingdom.
In addition, we also had the right to a release date and therefore give an appointment to players from all over the world on May 12, 2023. We will have to be patient a little bit!
