A new prototype of the Tesla Cybertruck has been spotted on the street in the United States.

In addition to various minor modifications, the latter is distinguished by its gigantic front wiper.

Cybertrucks already in the wild

It was ages ago (in 2019), Elon Musk announced a brand new vehicle coming to Tesla: the Cybertruck. This new model, obviously electric and with a futuristic look, should, after multiple delays, enter production in the course of this year 2023.

For the past few days, Tesla has been testing a brand new version of the prototype of this same Cybertruck. He has already been seen by many quidams, the latter hastening to share various shots on social networks.

A few optimizations… and an impressive windshield wiper!

Among the various photos shared on the networks, one of them makes it possible to detect various modifications made to the vehicle, in particular with regard to its front face. If Tesla seems to want to keep the atypical light signature of the Cybertruck presented in 2019, the manufacturer has also made various changes.

For example, on (what seems to be) the last prototype, we discover for the first time small triangular mirrors. Moreover, according to Electrekthe new prototypes also seem to have a lowered ground clearance.

The new prototype, on the other hand, retains its imposing single windscreen wiper at the front. When not in use, the latter is stored on the side of the windshield, unlike ordinary vehicles, on which the wipers are hidden at the bottom of the latter. To see now if the production model will retain this particular feature.

On the side of Tesla, production is actively organized within the Texas Gigafactory. The manufacturer indicates that it has already built many prototypes and that others will leave the factory next month. We should therefore observe more and more Cybertrucks in the wild before the launch of production, which should begin slowly this summer. This should then accelerate in 2024.
