Cheyenne Ochsenknecht: Baby number two is knocking on the door

Actually, Cheyenne Ochsenknecht would have been pregnant again for a long time. If it were up to her, the wedding could also happen immediately – if it weren’t for Let’s Dance …

“Something will happen that no one would have expected. It’s absolutely crazy and my family wouldn’t have thought that I would do it,” announced Cheyenne Ochsenknecht, 21, in a GALA interview, but then had to row back first . “What it’s all about”, the viewers would see “towards the end” of the new reality series Die Ochsenknechts (six episodes, from February 21 at 8:15 p.m. on Sky One and Sky Ticket).

With baby number two, the upcoming wedding, her psychological care and the planned alcohol consumption with Amira Pocher, 29, at Let’s Dance she doesn’t mince her words. However, when it comes to intimacy with her fiancé Nino Sifkovits goes, the openness is over again.

Cheyenne Ochsenknecht: “Our sex life is taboo”

GALA: What do you not want to show? where do you draw the line
Cheyenne Ochsenknecht: Mavie is filmed, but her face is blurred. Her room is not shown in detail either. There are also only casual scenes with her and no story that is told. Also, our sex life is taboo.

Cyberbullying will be an issue on the show. You are active against it, were bullied at school and later become a victim of cyberbullying. How are you doing with it today?

I’ve experienced a lot of bad things, I’ve fallen and I’ve gotten a hard skin over the past few years.

But I tried to take something positive from it, since I was bullied I wanted to do something about it and support others who are experiencing the same thing. I have set myself the goal of founding an initiative myself.

Because of bullying: Cheyenne is “still in psychological care”

How deep do you let viewers look into your soul? Will it also be about your mental health?
Mental health is a difficult topic for me because I still have psychological support from time to time. That’s why I won’t go into it properly. I’m also not a person who cries in public. When I talk about my experiences of bullying, I will come across as very composed, even if the topic is very emotional for me. But I don’t let that get to me as much as I used to.

You recently wrote on Instagram “The depression I’m experiencing is not ‘me'” – and that you would like to implement that in 2022. Do you already know how?
With a lot of distractions. That’s where Let’s Dance comes in handy. And I want to try to work even more against the depression. Nino helps me a lot with that. He and Mavie give me a lot of strength. It’s not as bad as it used to be.

But after the pregnancy I had the “baby blues” for about two weeks and was afraid that the depression would get worse.

Luckily those feelings are gone.

Le’ts Dance: When she’s excited, she always wants to drink Jägermeister with Amira Pocher

Have you thought of a strategy for Let’s Dance to deal with everything better? Key word: pressure and constant stress.
The millions in front of the televisions, the people on site – we now have an audience again, 250 people are allowed in: I’ll definitely pee my pants shortly before my dance. But I’ve agreed with Amira Pocher that we’ll always drink a Jägermeister when we’re excited. (laughs)

The short dance will surely seem like an eternity and I’ll be glad when it’s over. But I’m also looking forward to being in Cologne with Nino and Mavie next week, to the training and the people. It’s like family. I had already noticed that with Jimi’s participation. At that time I was at training every day and at the show on Fridays.

Are you afraid of the assessment of Joachim Llambi?
I’ve known him for a long time through my mom. He’s not as mean as he is on TV. This is now also a role played by Joachim Llambi. That’s part of the show. I’m already thinking about what spells I can use to counter him. (laughs)

Will you also be separated from your little daughter for a few days during the show?
It’s not planned. I will spend the first two weeks with Nino and Mavie mainly in Cologne and then mainly train with us in Austria. For the time we get support from friends who take care of the farm animals. For the Friday show we also have a nanny who will look after our little one.

“If it weren’t for Let’s Dance, I’d be pregnant again”

So the missing won’t be that bad.
No, when we were in Lisbon for the marriage proposal, we had already been separated from her for a week and we already know that.

We see the Let’s Dance time more as a holiday and are sometimes happy to be among us. (laughs)

It’s no secret that you and Nino want more children. Are there any plans as to when Mavie will be a big sister?
If it weren’t for Let’s Dance, I’d be pregnant again. (laughs) We take our time and wait for it to happen. We don’t have a precise plan.

Earlier this year, Nino proposed to you. Do you want to get married this year?
If it were up to us, we would get married immediately. But now it’s let’s dance and we still have a lot planned. Maybe we’ll get married in a civil ceremony this year.

And there will be another big party with family and friends?
Yes, definitely, that’s part of it for us.

Do you want to get married in church?
We don’t know exactly yet.
