Cheyenne Ochsenknecht traded Berlin for a farm in Austria. This is how happy her new life in the country makes her.

"As many may not know, I exchanged my 'society life' for the wonderful life on the farm" – Cheyenne Ochsenknecht (21) explained to her Instagram followers on Thursday. In other stories she makes clear how serious she actually is with her new life in Austria. "I now live on a very, very beautiful farm with an Italian cattle farm and lots of other animals," she enthuses about her friend's Chianina farm.

The heart of the farm are the Chianina cattle around their "best friend", the breeding bull Giacomo, as you can find out on the farm's new Insta page. The "family business" also has chickens, pigs, cats, a donkey, a Shetland pony, a giant rabbit and several dogs. The animals are fed in the morning and in the afternoon. "We have no employees and we do everything ourselves as well as we can," reports Ochsenknecht about everyday farm life.

"We love it here"

From story to story it becomes clearer how much the daughter of Natascha Ochsenknecht (56, "Defend yourself!") And actor Uwe Ochsenknecht (65, "Charité") has settled in. "We can't imagine anything better. We love to live here with our animals. The best thing is to see how happy the animals are. That makes us even happier," she writes in a story. And adds elsewhere: "We are trying to swim against the current and at least contribute a small part against factory farming."

In addition to long-term plans such as new sheep, filling the farm insta page or a farm shop, Cheyenne Ochsenknecht is currently looking forward to a sweet approaching event: "There is something new here every day and our chicks hatch on Sunday."

Pregnancy, baby, wedding?

The all-changing highlight of the year is also coming soon. Because the former Berliner will be mom, as she announced in November. At the time, she was six months old and had been with her boyfriend for a year and a half. Until then, however, she had kept this out of the public eye. This is different now, as the latest posts show.

Cheyenne Ochsenknecht recently answered quite pragmatically in an interview with spot on news whether the two of them want to get married: "I can well imagine that, but we'll take our time with that. I want to really celebrate my wedding. And it does no point in getting married just because a baby is on the way now. "
