Chicago Fire leaves TF1: where to see the rest of season 2?


After broadcasting “Chicago Fire” for several weeks, TF1 decided to deprogram the series in order to offer “New York Special Unit” next week. Find out how to see, in all legality, the rest of the episodes?

On March 30, TF1 launched the broadcast of season 1 of Chicago Fire, a new series of firefighters intended to replace Station 19, the spin-off of Grey’s Anatomy whose season 5 had ended the previous week.

Taking place, as its name suggests, in Chicago, the fiction focuses on the fates of the firefighters of fire station 51 in the city, as they try to reconcile their private and professional lives as best as possible.

If this is the first time that the series has been broadcast on the front page, Chicago Fire is however not new in France, since it has been in the good weather, for several years now, on 13ème Rue and CStar.

Unfortunately for fans of the drama series worn in particular by Jesse Spencer (Dr House) and Taylor Kinney (Vampire Diaries), TF1 decided to deprogram it in full broadcast of season 2, after only 7 episodes on the air.

This Wednesday, May 25, will therefore be the last time that you will be able to follow the adventures of barracks 51. From next week, that is Wednesday, June 1, it will broadcast in the second part of the evening the new episodes of season 22 of New York Special Unit.

How to see the rest of the episodes of Chicago Fire?

If you have become addicted to the series following its broadcast on TF1, you can continue watching on Amazon Prime Video, which offers seasons 1 to 7 on its streaming platform, but also on Netflix and MyCANAL which only have the first 4. seasons. Season 7 of Chicago Fire is currently broadcast every Sunday evening from 9:05 p.m. on CStar.

With 10 seasons on the clock, and an eleventh which should arrive in September 2022 on the American channel NBC, the series created by Michael Brandt and Derek Haas, and produced by Dick Wolf (New York Special Unit) has therefore not succeeded in convince the public of the One, the fault undoubtedly with the very late programming.

For the time being, TF1 has not announced whether it intends to offer the rest of season 2, as well as the following seasons on its antenna in the coming months.
