Step by step instructions for the chignon

  2. Tie a low ponytail with a ponytail.
  3. Now pull the hair tie down a little and pull the hair apart on the left and right over the braid, so that a hole is created.
  4. Reach through the hole with your thumb and forefinger and pull the braid through the hole.
  5. If your hair is long enough, you can repeat the process again: put your thumb and forefinger through the hole again and pull the braid through a second time.
  6. Now tighten the elastic again, grab the rest of the braid and put the ends of the hair in the hole.
  7. Now the ends of the hair are fixed with a few hairpins or hair clips.
  8. Finally, hairspray ensures that the chignon is held in place – done!
