Child asked for help – beaten son (7) in front of witnesses in Vienna


In public, a 30-year-old mother hit her little son several times on Sunday evening in Vienna. The brutal scenes took place in the Floridsdorf district in front of the eyes of several witnesses, the seven-year-old is said to have even asked passers-by for help before the suspect dragged him away. The police were alerted.

At around 10:10 p.m., witnesses alerted the executive and reported the incident. According to the police, the alleged perpetrator is apparently already known in the neighborhood because she is said to have consumed excessive alcohol and drugs. The police determined the home address of the suspects, the officers were supposed to meet the crying child in the inner courtyard of the apartment building.

Police officers also attacked, officer injured
When asked about the beating, the seven-year-old confirmed the incident, and immediately afterwards the boy’s mother also entered the courtyard – heavily drunk. “The woman insulted and attacked the police,” said police spokesman Christopher Verhnjak on Monday. One officer was injured.

The 30-year-old Serbian woman was arrested and banned from entering and approaching her, it said. The little boy was handed over to his adult brother.
