A few days ago, the Chinese studio Nekcom games, which we know for games DYING Reborn and DYING 1983, we had announced on his next project would be raised imminently, and it is today that we discovered Showa American Story, published by 2P Games (Immoral Life). Behind this strange name hides a game which is just as strange, and which takes us into a very particular post-apocalyptic world.
Showa American Story presents us with an American continent, to say the least, in a universe where Japan would have bought back the United States on a massive scale before immigrating there en masse. This is why we are entitled to a real mix of cultures in these first images, with a trailer that shows us an action-RPG in which we will play a young woman who has mysteriously come back to life, and who discovers a post-apocalyptic world filled with zombies and monsters.
Gameplay level, we can expect stabbing action with several types of weapons, but also shoot and an arsenal as strange as the rest of the universe. It will be possible to improve and customize the base used by Choko, the heroine of the game, but also to take part in everyday activities, and to improve our abilities throughout the game, with built-in mini-games.
A hell of a program for a title that will be released one day on PC via Steam, PS4 and PS5.
