Selling Sunset stars Chrishell Stause and Jason Oppenheim have split up. The two want to remain “best friends”.

Chrishell Stause (40) and Jason Oppenheim (44) have split up. The stars from the Netflix broker series “Selling Sunset” each reported on Instagram about the separation and the reasons for it to speak. “We remain best friends and will always love and support each other,” wrote Oppenheim in his statement. “She was the greatest girlfriend I ever had and it was the happiest and most fulfilling relationship of my life.” He and Stause had different views on a family, he also provided the reason for separation and stated that they “continue to have the greatest respect for one another”.

Stause confirmed in her post that the relationship failed due to differing views on family planning. “Men have the luxury of time that women don’t, and it just does so,” she explained. “I really hope to have a family one day and decisions I make at this point are tied to that goal.” Oppenheim thanked her for “the most incredible relationship and for always being honest with me, even when it hurt”.

Relationship is the theme of “Selling Sunset”

Chrishell Stause and Jason Oppenheim made their relationship public in July. The two have been part of the Netflix series “Selling Sunset” since 2019. The twins Jason and Brett Oppenheim, with their brokerage company and their employees, including Stause, are the focus. The reality show not only shows the sales of luxury real estate in Los Angeles, but also focuses on the personal dramas of the protagonists. Among other things, the marriage of Stause and ex-husband and “This Is Us” star Justin Hartley (44) was dealt with in season three.

If the relationship between Stause and Oppenheim was not yet discussed in the fourth season published at the end of November, it should be included in the already wacky fifth season. A first teaser at the end of the fourth season shows that the colleagues apparently have different opinions about the (now failed) relationship. While Heather Rae El Moussa (34) finds the relationship “totally crazy” but also “exciting” in the short preview, Mary Fitzgerald (41), who was already in a relationship with Jason Oppenheim, is simply “speechless”. Stause says in the teaser: “We are not criminals, we are not doing anything wrong.”

Brett Oppenheim is also available again

Just hours after his brother Jason confirmed his relationship, Brett Oppenheim also gave in almost casually in an Instagram story announced that he was “recently” single again. The real estate agent and friend Tina Louise made their relationship public in April with couple beach photos on Instagram. Oppenheim did not name a reason for separation in his story.
