The anticipation is increasing: Chrissy Teigen and John Legend are planning a weekend dedicated to their love on the occasion of their tenth marriage anniversary.

Singer John Legend (44) and Chrissy Teigen (37) apparently want to celebrate their tenth wedding anniversary with a whole weekend. In any case, the model is looking forward to the days ahead on his Instagram account.

The big weekend is approaching

In On her Instagram story, Teigen shared a snapshot from the pool and announced that the “10th anniversary weekend is approaching”. The couple officially married for the first time on September 10, 2013, followed by a big celebration on Lake Como in Italy on September 14, 2013. The mother of four further emphasized that September 14th was “the most perfect day”. She also added the hashtag “#johnXchrissy”.

The stars met in 2006 while filming the music video for John Legend’s single “Stereo.” They made their red carpet debut together at the 2008 Grammy Awards. After four years of dating, they got engaged in 2011 and tied the knot two years later. Since his marriage, the couple has had four children. Daughter Luna was born in 2016, followed by her younger brother Miles Theodore in 2018. This year, the couple welcomed their third baby, daughter Esti Maxine, and soon after, son Wren Alexander, who was born with the help of a surrogate.

“You never cease to amaze me”

The couple always gives insights into their relationship and likes to show off their love at events. In 2019, they spent their sixth wedding anniversary in Paris. Last year he gushed about his single “Wonder Woman”: “I married my Wonder Woman 9 years ago today. Happy anniversary, my love. You never cease to amaze me.” However, Teigen and Legend don’t just share the good times. They have also experienced tragic moments in their marriage. In 2020 they had to abort their son Jack. “Halfway through the pregnancy, it was clear that he would not survive and neither would I unless I intervened medically,” she explained two years later in a talk at the “A Day of Unreasonable Conversation” summit.
