Christine Neubauer and Sigmar Solbach: stage comeback in Munich

The actors Christine Neubauer and Sigmar Solbach will celebrate their premiere in Munich on Wednesday with the play "Half Truths".

The actors Christine Neubauer (58, "Die Landärztin") and Sigmar Solbach (73, "Dr. Stefan Frank – The doctor whom women trust") play in Munich theaters. The play "Half Truths" will premiere on Wednesday (September 9th) in the Komödie im Bayerischer Hof. The last performance of the four-person play will take place on November 1, 2020.

For this commitment, Neubauer returned with her partner José and her dog from Mallorca to their hometown Munich. Combining her passion for acting with the "wonderful private" makes her very happy. "I can't feel better at the moment," she enthuses in an interview with the TV magazine "Brisant" (Das Erste). Because here she can often visit her mother.

And for Sigmar Solbach, too, this theater engagement is something special. Because this is his second time on stage with this piece. The first time he met his wife, Claudia Solbach. At that time she was a makeup artist at the theater. "That was 30 years ago," she says with a laugh in a double interview with the tabloid magazine. Back then, however, he played the "young lover", "and now I play the old lover," he adds.

The classic comedy comes from the British playwright Alan Ayckbourn (81) and was his first great success with the public.
