The government continues to focus on school in this back-to-school period. Invited to the microphone of Hélène Zelany in “Europe 1 Soir”, Christophe Béchu, Minister for Ecological Transition, announced the launch of a “national animation committee” for school renovations. Earlier today, Emmanuel Macron, traveling to Orthez in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques, said he wanted to renovate more than 40,000 schools to adapt them to climate change.

“Next Thursday, with Gabriel Attal, we will launch the national animation committee for these school renovations. We will bring together local authorities, building stakeholders, national education stakeholders and we will decline with them the way which this plan will come into force”, he declared at the microphone of Europe 1.
