Christophe Willem was due to perform in concert on the evening of Wednesday, November 22 as part of his tour, organized a year after the release of his last album, entitled Panorama. The 40-year-old artist unfortunately had to announce bad news to his fans, on his X account. In the caption of the photo used for his show, the winner of the New star season 4 launched, with chagrin: “I was happy to see you again this week. It is therefore with great regret that I announce the cancellation of the Martigues dates [en Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, NDLR], Toulouse and Amiens.
He was scheduled to perform in the Haute-Garonne prefecture on Thursday November 23 and Saturday November 25 in Picardy. By way of explanation, Christophe Willem mentioned health problems forcing him to preserve his voice: “I’ve been suffering from nasty laryngitis for a few days, which unfortunately requires vocal rest.” In an attempt to reassure his fans, who thought they would be able to see him on stage these three days, he indicated that “Solutions are being studied to postpone these dates or, failing that, [les] inform about the reimbursement terms. To conclude his post, the singer launched, adding several emojis of folded hands: “Thank you for understanding.”

An artist in concert until mid-2024
And even if he sincerely apologizes for not being able to perform his three shows, Christophe Willem wanted to give “See you next week” to other spectators who have their tickets for the rest of the tour. Remember that the artist will be in Mérignac (in Gironde) on November 28, then in Biarritz (on the Basque coast), in Épernay (in the Marne) and in Lille (Hauts-de-France) the following days. Its shows will probably end on May 30, 2024, with a last concert in Paris. A city that he left in a personal capacity a few years ago, as he explained to our colleagues at Closer, on September 1st.
