On February 29, 2024, Google published a press release discussing improvements to Chrome suggestions.
For starters, Chrome on PC now offers content suggestions related to your previous search. By simply clicking in the Google search box, the browser will be based on “items similar to those searched by others” users.
The suggestion for answers with images is also evolving. Previously, Google Chrome only displayed a photo of a product in the search bar that exactly matched the one mentioned. From now on, it will display textual and image suggestions close to the type of content sought on iOS and Android.
For example, by writing the start of the query “bohemian tab” to search for a table in the bohemian style, Google suggests four queries with images: bohemian table, bohemian tablecloth, bohemian table runner and bohemian lamp.
