For several weeks, Google has been at the heart of the news. While the 99 version of Google Chrome
is now accessible, the giant is preparing to deploy ChromeOS 99. This is accompanied by the addition of a rather practical feature for those who are used to using virtual desktops…

Users of Chromebook computers, the creation of virtual offices is accompanied today by a small significant novelty!

Virtual desktops optimized on ChromeOS 99

On ChromeOS, virtual desktops allow you to manage several desktops in order to facilitate the use and organization of your windows as well as the various tasks in progress on your Chromebook. This manifests itself, among other things, by the ability to move a window to another desktop, or to move tabs to other windows and/or desktops. But, with the arrival of ChromeOS 99, Google announces the arrival of a new feature to further simplify navigation between your different virtual desktops.

From now on, when you are in “Overview” mode, which allows you to see all your desktops simultaneously, you will finally be able to drag a window to the top of the screen in order to easily create a new office. As a reminder, a previous update complementary to this one had been the opportunity for Google to add a relatively practical feature, namely the possibility of using keyboard shortcuts to alternate simply and quickly between your different offices.

This feature certainly does not reinvent the wheel, but it is still very valuable for ChromeOS users. Note that the various features provided by version 99 of the Google operating system are now beginning to be deployed.
