Actress Chryssanthi Kavazi loves to play with her style and to try it out. In the GALA interview, the GZSZ actress reveals which look she is going for on Christmas Eve – and what reaction she expects from husband Tom Beck.

A look at the Instagram account of actress Chryssanthi Kavazi, 32, is enough to determine two things: The GZSZ star not only has an incredible amount of humor, but also a keen sense for fashion.

In an interview with GALA, Tom Beck’s wife, 43, reveals which item of clothing should hang in every closet and which glamor look she is looking for for the holidays.

Chryssanthi Kavazi: “An oversize blazer is a real must-have for me”

GALA: What you clearly have in common with your GZSZ role ‘Laura’ is good style! What do you pay attention to when choosing your private clothes?

First and foremost, that it’s practical. I’m now at an age where I hate being cold. So my style has to be weather-proof, but it should also look good. I always try to try it out – it backfires sometimes. Then my husband thinks it’s very bad; but it’s not the ultimate (laughs).

You have just mentioned: Have you ever wore an outfit at an event that you would call a fail in retrospect?

Oh god yeah Definitely. A few weeks ago I was at a fitting and when you go to the designer and hang these great clothes in front of you, then you are in your very own bubble. I was then very encouraged, even though I was still unsure myself. Then I saw the picture of the red carpet a few weeks ago … It was so bad. So yes, I’ve really reached into the toilet one or the other time.

That has certainly happened to everyone! Which garment can you always rely on – a must-have in your wardrobe …

Clearly a blazer. I think a blazer like this enhances any style: You can combine it with jeans, a dress or a jogger.

You have to try something out, but an oversize blazer like this is a real must-have for me.

In fact, I only recently bought a purple sequin blazer – I fell in love with it instantly. Then I went home and said to my husband: ‘When should I ever wear this?’

Wouldn’t that be an outfit for Christmas Eve? Or what does the perfect outfit for Christmas look like for you?

Yes, maybe it will actually be the blazer for Christmas. The pandemic has made me really comfortable. It is precisely for this reason that I have made up my mind to dress up every Christmas day without exception. I’ve already bought a sequin dress in black and a velvet corsage in green. It will probably be one of the two. I’m really looking forward to styling myself on the days – you just feel better then. My family is sure to be amazed and wondering what else I plan to do in the evenings (laughs).
