(Boursier.com) — cibox announces the opening and commissioning of Revin’s 3R (Repair, Reconditioning and Recycling) workshop.
Cibox thus takes a first step in the context of its industrial site project in the Revinois basin with the opening of this 1,200 m2 workshop. The site begins its operations from June 8 with teams recruited locally and having undergone training in Alfortville in recent weeks.
The 3R workshop will ensure for Cibox products but also on behalf of other brands or brands, three main missions: repair; repackaging of products; and recycling.
The next big step will be the commissioning of the mobility factory on the entire Revin site (17,500 m2). Integrating all the strategic industrial processes, such as the manufacture of frames and the assembly of batteries, necessary for the production of electric bicycles, the site will be sized for a capacity of more than 150,000 electric bicycles per year.
Its commissioning is still scheduled for the end of the first half of 2024. With this in mind, investments will be continued in 2023 in both the tools and the human resources required.
This technological and industrial project is at the heart of the ambition set by Cibox to impose itself at the forefront of European micro-mobility manufacturers. An ambition that will allow the Company to take full advantage of the strong growth of its markets with a reaffirmed objective in sight: to cross the milestone of 100 ME in turnover by 2027-2028.
