Here’s one that’s been a long time coming after being postponed last summer. Now that The Flash And Blue Beetle are out, all that’s left isAquaman and the Lost Kingdom as a feature film produced before the arrival of James Gunn and Peter Safranwho prepare their DCU where some elements will be included and others not. This second movie Aquaman by James Wan is going to be released this year and its promotion is finally starting with a first teaser especially inviting us to come back “in four days” this Thursday, September 14 for a trailer in good and due form.

We discover along the way the French title which will simply be Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. Among the snippets of scenes shown, we see Orm being caught by a “mechanical octopus”, Black Manta swearing to kill Aquamana house on fire which is undoubtedly the home ofArthurthe latter riding a giant seahorse, Atlanna clinging to a structure, an ugly creature from the abyss, or even a face to face which promises to be muscular between the two headliners.
For the moment, the scenario does not seem very original since, as the expression says “we take the same ones and we start over”, even if this story of Black Trident suggests that a greater enemy will come to play spoilsport.
Having failed to defeat Aquaman the first time, Black Manta, still driven by the need to avenge his father’s death, will stop at nothing to eliminate Aquaman once and for all. This time, Black Manta is more formidable than ever, wielding the power of the mythical Black Trident, which unleashes an ancient and malevolent force. To defeat him, Aquaman will turn to his imprisoned brother Orm, the former king of Atlantis, to forge an unlikely alliance. Together, they must put aside their differences in order to protect their kingdom and save Aquaman’s family and the world from irreversible destruction.
Returning all to their original roles, Jason Momoa plays Arthur Curry/Aquaman, who must now balance his duties as King of Atlantis and father; Patrick Wilson as Orm, Aquaman’s half-brother and nemesis, having to take on a new role as his brother’s reluctant ally; Amber Heard as Mera, Queen of Atlantis and mother of the heir to the throne; Yahya Abdul-Mateen II is Black Manta, determined more than ever to avenge his father’s death by destroying Aquaman, his family, and Atlantis; and Nicole Kidman is Atlanna, a fierce leader and warrior-hearted mother. Dolph Lundgren and Randall Park also reprise their roles as King Nereus and Dr. Stephen Shin.
