CINEMA: Blue Beetle, Carapax comes to oppose the young hero in a new explosive and crazy trailer

Now that the Flash by Andy Muschietti has passed and while waiting for the renewal promised by the DCUs with Superman: Legacyit is another cinematographic project of Warner Bros. Pictures And DC Studios which enters its final stretch in terms of communication, Blue Beetle. We had discovered its first trailer earlier this yearwhich then promised a light and family tone with this origin story colorful. We might have thought his next major preview would wait until the SDCC at the end of the month, but it was that night that it fell, with three good minutes which show us much more, specifying in passing the scenario which will be very classic.

VOSTFR trailer

In effect, Jaime Reyes (Xolo Maridueña) was chosen by the Beetlegranting him technological powers in the form of armor seeking above all to protect its host, which it will have to learn to control. Except that Victoria Kord (Susan Sarandon) intends to recover her property, Kord Industries obviously having dark plans to “change the world” using the power of Beetle. You will notice that the project has a false air of the machines of the saga Matrixwhich is not reassuring.

Blue Beetle will therefore have to fight against Conrad Carapax (Raoul Max Trujillo) whom we discover this time in “costume”employed by the latter, promising us a duel of armor and vision of the world, the young hero in the making having his family at heart, who will obviously be targeted because that’s what the bad guys do… However, the members should not be underestimated, because the video ends with two totally absurd scenes with the grandmother girl (Adriana Barraza) holding a machine gun gatling then using it against enemy soldiers.

VF trailer

As a reminder, Blue Beetle will land in theaters on August 16 in France. The Flash is available for pre-order in 4K UHD Blu-ray at the price of €29.99 on Amazon.
