Cinema quiz: 7 difficult puzzles to decipher!

It’s the return of the quiz in rebus mode, with seven 90s film titles to recognize, thanks to a series of images to decode. Attention, it is sometimes far-fetched! The answers are to be entered without accent and without capital letters.

So here is our third quiz in rebus mode. After a first edition devoted to horror films and a following one centered on French comedies, today seven titles of films from the 90s are hidden behind these image associations. Before you start, take a look back at our latest quiz to warm up and get an idea of what to expect.

One of the rebuses – probably not the most complicated since it only consisted of two images – showed us a disappearing clock and an Alex Lutz obviously much older than his usual 44 years.

For the first image, you didn’t have to look far, it was about time, for the second on the other hand, you had to know the film Guy by and with Alex Lutz, in which the grimé actor played an old star of the variety on the return. The answer was therefore Tanguy, the film by Etienne Chatiliez.

The next one, still composed of two images, but perhaps a little more technical, first proposed the face of Timothy Olyphant, followed by the shadow of a couple. The main difficulty was in acknowledging the precise role of the actor, since it was not about the Justified series, but about his appearance in the series The Mandalorian as Cobb Vanth, better known as the Marshal. The trick was played, “Marshal-shadow”, and we got the comedy of the 80s signed Michel Blanc.

Last example with three images this time, a bit far-fetched we must admit, with first of all a young woman coughing, then one of the seven dwarfs from the cartoon Snow White, and finally a large, visibly old residence. It was then necessary to associate the cough, Simplet, and a manor for “cough-Simplet-manor”, in other words Simply black, the film of Jean-Pascal Zadi.

Here are the kind of twisted mechanics that you will be able to find in this new quiz. As we have specified in each question, the answers are to be entered all in lowercase and without accents.
