Cinema quiz: recognize these 8 posters from the 80s!

After the 90s and 2000s, the “zoom zoom quiz” returns for a third edition devoted this time to films from the 80s. Can you find which posters these details come from?

The 80s have been trendier than ever lately. A veritable revival of popular culture from this decade that seems to concern all media. The series Stranger Things alone embodies, better than any other, this ambient nostalgia. It must be said that each season advances at the rate of a year, since season 1 took place in 1983, when the fourth and last season saw the heroes become great teenagers, evolve in 1986.

The cinematographic references are numerous, from ET The Extraterrestrial to the Goonies, passing by Shining or Alien. The Dungeons and Dragons role-playing game, emblematic of the 80s, has recently experienced a resurgence of interest, after the broadcast of an episode where we could see the group of friends playing it with fervor.

Same with music. If the soundtrack of the series has of course used many songs from this era, propelling for example the Running up that hill by Kate Bush, at the top of the rankings of streaming platforms, other artists have also been largely inspired by this musical trend in recent years.

We can think for example of the music of The Weeknd with the recent hit Blinding Lights or through the aesthetics of its clip I feel it comingto the very recent tube As it was from Harry Styles, or even on the French side with the many borrowings of Jul whether from Michael Jackson or the group Debut de Soirée.

We are therefore also going to take a little step back, to revisit this golden decade, through some emblematic film posters of the decade. Will you be able to recognize them with the help of a simple detail?
